This license is valid only during the period of access provided to you by CNKE.org and is subject to the restrictions detailed in this Agreement.

Ownership
The Licensed Content, including all copyrights, trademarks, and intellectual property rights, is the sole property of CNKE.org and its licensors. You are granted a limited license to use the Licensed Content, and no ownership rights are transferred to you through your use of the Website.

Contributor Eligibility

• Any registered member of CNKE.org who has been provided author rights can author and post content. Anonymous posts are not allowed. All content and revisions will be tied to the author’s name.
• Bonafide long standing Members of the International Child Neurology Association (ICNA) are automatically granted author rights.

Licensing and Ownership

• When you post any content, you are granting CNKE.org an unrestricted license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute your contributions.
• All content on CNKE.org, including text, art, graphics, logos, buttons, images, pictures, audio clips, software, and code, is the property of CNKE.org, its partners, or content providers and is protected by international copyright laws. Except as granted in the Limited License below, any other use of such content, including modification, transmission, reproduction, distribution, or re-publication, is prohibited without prior written consent from CNKE.org.

Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)

• Contributors may use artificial intelligence tools (e.g., generative AI models) solely to improve the readability and language of their submissions. AI must not replace essential research, writing tasks, or scientific analysis.
• AI must be used with human oversight to ensure accuracy and to avoid incorrect or biased outputs.
• AI cannot be credited as a contributor.
• Contributors are responsible for ensuring the integrity, originality, and accuracy of their work.

Content Restrictions

• All content must be original and must not infringe upon third-party rights.
• Contributors must ensure they have appropriate rights to all materials posted, including text, images, video, and audio.
• CNKE.org participants may not post content that includes threats, harassment, bullying, derogatory or demeaning language, defamation, or hate speech.

Patient Privacy and Confidentiality

• Contributors must comply with all applicable privacy laws, including HIPAA, GDPR, and other relevant regulations.
• Patient information that could reveal identity must not be posted. If you wish to include patient photos or videos, you must obtain signed consent specifying that the media may appear on CNKE.org and other platforms.

Self-Moderation and Editorial Oversight

• Content on CNKE.org will be self-moderated by the child neurology community.
• Subspecialty editorial boards will periodically review submissions for quality assurance and may delete, request revisions, or repost content as necessary.
• Decisions made by the Editor-in-Chief, Deputy Editor-in-Chief, and editorial boards are final and binding.

Limited License

Your use of downloadable content from CNKE.org is subject to a Limited License. This license permits you to download content solely for personal, noncommercial purposes.

Educational Purpose

1. The content on CNKE.org is for informational and educational purposes only.

2. CNKE.org does not provide medical advice and is not a substitute for professional medical consultation, diagnosis, or treatment.
